Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a pie dish or baking tray with the puff pastry sheet.
In a mixing bowl, combine the sausage meat, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, dried herbs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
Spread the sausage meat mixture evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a small border around the edges.
Carefully roll up the puff pastry, enclosing the sausage meat filling and forming a log shape. Seal the edges by pressing them together.
Place the sausage roll pie onto the lined pie dish or baking tray, seam side down.
Brush the beaten egg over the top of the pastry for a golden and glossy finish.
Make a few slits on the top of the pastry to allow steam to escape during baking.
Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and crispy, and the sausage meat is fully cooked.
Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.
