Ingredients
  

  • 2-3 fresh ribbon fish
  • lemon juice
  • salt and pepper
  • clove of garlic
  • olive oil
  • chopped parsley
  • lemon wedges

Instructions
 

  • Clean the ribbon fish thoroughly and remove the scales, head, and tail.
  • Cut the fish into fillets. Season the fillets with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Let them marinate for 10-15 minutes. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • .Add the marinated ribbon fish fillets to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Sprinkle chopped parsley over the fish and remove from heat. Serve hot with lemon wedges.

Notes

Make sure the ribbon fish is fresh and properly cleaned before cooking. Remove the scales, head, and tail, and fillet the fish into pieces.
Let the fish marinate in lemon juice, salt, and pepper for at least 10-15 minutes before cooking to enhance its flavor.When cooking the fish, be careful not to overcook it, as it can become tough and dry. Cook each fillet for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
Don't overcrowd the pan when cooking the fish. Cook the fillets in batches if needed, so they have enough space to cook evenly.
