Ingredients

full cream milk

sugar

brown sugar

curd/yoghurt
Chopped dry fruits
Instructions
Heat the milk in a thick non-stick pan.
Stir occasionally while the milk boils.
Add two tablespoons of sugar and stir.
Allow the milk to boil till it thickens.
Stir until milk reduces to half the quantity.
In another pan, put in two tablespoons of brown sugar and add a teaspoon of water.
Allow the sugar to caramelize and add the warm milk. Mix well.
Turn off the heat and let it cool down.
After it has cooled, transfer it into an earthenware or clay pot.
Add a teaspoon of curd and stir.
Cover the clay pot and let the mishti doi set for 8 hours in a warm environment.
Keep it in the fridge for about 2 hours so that a creamy texture can be attained.
Garnish it with your dried fruits and serve.
