Vanilla Bundt Cake Recipe

A Bundt cake (/bʌnt/) is a cake that is baked in a Bundt pan, shaping it into a distinctive doughnut shape. The shape is inspired by a traditional European cake known as Gugelhupf, but Bundt cakes are not generally associated with any single recipe. Our Bundt Cakes are handcrafted in every bakery in a variety of delicious flavors and sizes. To top it all off, our bakeries offer a wide selection of retail items, including party supplies, décor and gifts, making Nothing Bundt Cakes the perfect one-stop celebration shop.
Why is Bundt Cake So Moist? A bundt pan requires a moist cake mix because the shape of a bundt pan exposes more of the cake mix to high temperatures than in a normal cake tin. This recipe makes a perfectly moist lemon bundt cake due to the added wet ingredients to the cake mix to ensure an even cooking of the cake.

Notes

Bundt cakes have several characteristics that set them apart from other cakes: Bundt cake pans have fluted edges, making the cakes look elegant even before decoration. The pans have a hole down the middle, which means the cakes come out with a donut shape. The hole helps the cakes cook more evenly.
Bundt cakes may take the form of coffee cakes or pound cakes. In general, these cakes are denser than light and airy sponge cakes. This structure helps the cakes bake well in the specially designed pans
The best way to store bundt cake for several days is at room temperature on a covered cake plate. That is the most ideal way to both maintain the beautiful shape of the cake and keep it from drying out. However, if you don’t have a covered cake plate, the next best option is to cover your cake with a dome-shaped bowl or plastic container. Make your own covered cake plate.
You can garnish it with chocolate too
