Ingredients for Piña Colada Sorbet
1 fresh cubed pineapple
1 cup light canned coconut milk
2/3 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons dark rum
Juice of a lime
1/2 teaspoon coconut extract
Steps in making Piña Colada Sorbet
Pour all of the ingredients to a blender and pulse until smooth.
Pour into a bowl then refrigerate the mixture until it is cold.
Remove mixture from fridge then whisk when loose then pour the mixture into an ice cream maker, churn according to manufacturer’s instructions.
Pour into an airtight container when ready. Freeze the sorbet according to at least 3 hours or overnight
Store the sorbet in an airtight freezer safe container in the freezer until ready to serve.
