How to Make Perfect Cheesecake Recipe
Make your perfect cheesecake and enjoy a great taste. This is no need to buy one outside for the party or celebration. Just follow the steps to bake yours.
For the Batter:
1 pounds full-fat cream cheese
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sour cream
1 teaspoons lemon juice (optional)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 large egg yolk
For the crust:
6 whole graham cracker rectangles
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
Heat the oven to 350°F.
Remove cheese from their container and allow them soften and to cool for about 30 minutes
Grease springform pan with butter.
Wrap the sides of the springform pan in foil(The foil protects the pan from water getting into pan)
Crush the graham crackers in a food processor or blender until they form fine crumbs.
Melt the butter on fire and mix this into the graham cracker crumbs.
Mold it into dough ( Add extra tablespoons of water until the mixture holds together)
Transfer it into the springform pan and use the bottom of a glass to press it evenly into the bottom.
Place the crust in the oven and bake until the crust starts to brown around the edges, 8 to 10 minutes. Allow it to cool
Mix together sugar,cream cheese, cornstarch, and salt using an electric mixer or whisker until the mixture is creamy and not lumpy.
Mix together sour cream, lemon juice, and vanilla and add to mixture. Beat on medium-low speed until combined and creamy.
Mix in the eggs and yolk one at a time until uniformly mixed.
Stir the whole batter by hand.The finished batter should be thick, creamy, and silky.
Pour the batter over the cooled crust and spread it into an even layer.
Boil water in a large baking dish. Transfer the pan to the water bath.
Bake the cheesecake for 50 to 60 minutes. Allow the cheesecake cool slowly for 30 minutes
Chill the cheesecake in the refrigerator. Serve and enjoy
