Orange creamsicle Cheesecake
You love this taste because of the unique mixture of cheese and orange flavor. Make yours at home and enjoy it with the whole family. Just follow the steps to prepare orange creamsicle cheesecake.
6 oz. vanilla wafers
1- 1/2 cups granulated sugar
4 teaspoons unsalted softened butter
2 packages softened cream cheese
2 cups heavy cream
1 box orange jello
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Zest of one orange
Blend vanilla wafers in a food processor until it forms crumbs.
Add granulated sugar and butter together then mix to combine.
Spray a 9-inch springform pan with cooking spray.
Pour mixture into bottom of the pan and slightly up the sides.
Put pan into freezer for at least 30 minutes.
Beat together cream cheese and 1 cup granulated sugar with a hand-held mixer in a large mixing bowl until creamy and smooth. Set aside.
Whisk together orange jello and boiling water until dissolved in an other bowl.
In a separate medium bowl, mix heavy cream, vanilla extract, and powered sugar until stiff peaks form.
Add half of the whipped cream mixture with the orange jello mixture and the other half with the cream cheese mixture.
Spread each mixture into the pan alternatively, starting with the cream cheese mixture and ending with whipped cream.
Chill in the fridge for at least 5 hours or overnight before serving
