Ingredients
- 2 cups rice flour
- 4 cups water
- Salt to taste
- Water for kneading
Preparation Steps
- In a large pot, bring the 4 cups of water to a boil.
- In a separate bowl, mix the rice flour with a little water to form a smooth paste.
- Add the rice flour paste to the boiling water and stir continuously to prevent lumps from forming.
- Reduce the heat to low and continue stirring until the mixture thickens and becomes smooth.
- Cover the pot and let the mixture cook for about 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
- After 30-40 minutes, the Tuwo Shinkafa should be thick and smooth. Remove it from the heat.
- Allow the Tuwo Shinkafa to cool slightly, then wet your hands with water and knead the mixture until it becomes smooth and elastic.
- Divide the dough into small portions and roll each portion into a smooth ball.
- Serve the Tuwo Shinkafa with your favorite soup or stew.
