This recipe is rich and creamy casserole with bacon and cheese! Enjoy this easy side dish as a compliment to any main meal and serve as a complete dish!
1 pound mushrooms
1 small diced onion
1 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons cream cheese
6 slices bacon
1 cup sharp shredded cheddar cheese
3-4 cloves garlic
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
Dice bacon slices and cook until crispy in a large skillet
Pour bacon from pan and let drain on paper towel.
Wash and dice mushrooms and pour into bacon grease with onions and grated garlic under medium-high heat.
Season with salt and pepper. Saute until mushrooms and the onions are tender.
Mix in sour cream and cream cheese mix until creamy.
Place sour cream mixture in a 8″ X 8″ pan, then add cooked bacon and mushroom and top with shredded cheese.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until cheese has melted.
Serve with Rice or potato.
