Homemade Coconut Cream Pound Cake recipe
Coconut cream pound cake is a moist and fluffy homemade cake make to please the family. You can make this cake for weddings and parties and be sure of a great taste.
1/2 cup soften butter
1/2 (8 ounce) package soften cream cheese
2 1/2 cups white sugar
1 teaspoon coconut extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 cups flaked coconut
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). .
Mix together butter and cream cheese with hand mixer until well blended.
Add sugar, and beat until light and fluffy.
Mix in the eggs one at a time, then add coconut extract to mixture.
Mix in flour and baking powder until just moistened, then stir in coconut.
Grease and flour a 10 inch tube baking pan
Spoon batter into the prepared baking pan.
Bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes in the preheated oven, until a tooth pick inserted into the cake comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool in the pan before serving.
