How to prepare Chicken Shawarma
I usually bought sharwama to home and always wondered how to make this amazing nutritious recipe. I went to the store, bought some ingredients and made my homemade chicken sharwama salad and guess what? It tasted great!!
Sharwama is a Middle Eastern dish of spiced meat or poultry served on pitas(Tortillas). View the steps to prepare chicken sharwama salad at home.
#You can allow the spiced chicken to marinade(freeze) overnight or for some hours before cooking them for intense favour.
Ingredients for Chicken Sharwama Recipe
2 or 3 warm sharwama bread (Flour Tortillas)
Boneless Chicken pieces
1 Riped Avocado
Green bell pepper
Wash and cut 1 onion, 2 cloves of garlic, pepper and little water. Blend them
In a bowl, add chicken pieces, blended ingredients, spices and salt to taste. (Marinade before use)
Pour spiced chicken pieces in saucepan. Under medium heat, boil chicken.
While the chicken is on fire, wash lettuce, carrots, green bell pepper, cucumber, onion and fresh tomatoes. Put them in salt solution for 5-10mins
Cut them into pieces into bowl and add chopped avocado. Cover veggies and set aside
When chicken pieces are soft and tender, remove them from broth. Heat 3 teaspoon of oil and fry them until golden brown.
Pour fried chicken pieces into salad. Mix mayonnaise with salad and chicken pieces
Top 2 or 3 warm shawarma bread with chicken salad. Wrap it and Serve it. Enjoy!!
