Cheeseburger Stuffed Pasta Shells
18 uncooked jumbo pasta shells
1-1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1 medium chopped onion
8 ounces tomato sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup prepared mustard
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
Preheat oven to 350°.
Boil and cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse in cold water. Drain and set aside.
Cook beef and onion over medium-high heat in a large skillet until beef is no longer pink. Break beef into crumbles. Drain.
Stir in tomato sauce, ketchup, mustard and pepper until well combined. Stir in 3/4 cup shredded cheese.
Spoon about 2 tablespoons filling into each shell. Place in a greased 11×7-in. baking dish.
Bake, covered, for about 15 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining cheese; bake, uncovered, until cheese is melted for about 5 minutes.
Serve with chopped tomatoes or shredded cheese
