Caramel Cheesecake Recipe

Caramel Cheesecake

Serve cheesecake with caramel sauce and enjoy the taste of a unique dessert. Learn with these few steps.



2 cups crushed vanilla wafers

3 tablespoons sugar

1/3 cup butter


Filling of Caramel Cheesecake

3 packages  softened cream cheese

1/2 cup sugar

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 eggs


Caramel Sauce

1 package  caramels

1 can evaporated milk

1 cup chopped walnuts



Preheat oven to 375°.

Mix wafer crumbs and sugar in a bowl. Stir in butter.


Place mixture in greased 10-in. springform pan and press onto bottom.

Beat cream cheese and sugar in a large bowl until smooth.

Beat in flour and vanilla extract.

Add eggs; beat on low speed just combined.

Pour into prepared crust. Place pan on a baking sheet in oven.

Bake 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clear.

Cool on a wire rack 10 minutes. Loosen sides from pan with a knife.

Cool 1 hour longer. Refrigerate overnight.


How to prepare Caramel Sauce

Melt caramels with milk over low heat  in a large heavy saucepan

Stir until smooth then stir in walnuts. Remove form fire then allow it to cool down

Serve cheesecake with caramel sauce.
