BANANA PUDDING RECIPE

Ingredients for banana pudding
8 ounces vanilla wafers, divided
4 large ripe bananas, sliced
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pour milk into saucepan and boil over medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Stir for 5-10 mins. Remove from fire and allow it to cool down
In a small bowl, whisk eggs and sugar. Add heated milk into egg mixture
Return mixture to pan and under medium heat, cook and whisking constantly.
Stir in vanilla extract . Remove pudding from fire and allow it to cool down
In an ungreased 8-in. square baking dish, layer 25 vanilla wafers, half of the banana slices and half of the pudding. Repeat layers.
Cover banana pudding with plastic wrap and Refrigerate 5 hours or overnight.
Remove from fridge and serve or sprinkle crushed wafers over top.
